Can you really make a lasagne in one pan on a cooktop? Absolutely!
Ingredients
- 6-8 sheets of lasagne
- 500g of minced beef
- 2 teaspoons of garlic
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 teaspoon of mixed herbs
- 1 jar of Passata
- 1 small tub of ricotta cheese
- 1 cup of mozzarella or Italian blend cheese
- 1 heaped tablespoon of tomato paste
- 1 cup of water/stock
- A pinch of salt and pepper
Method
- Chop the onion and fry it up in olive oil, adding herbs and garlic, salt and pepper. Then, add the mince and cook it until it has cooked through.
- Add the tomato paste and Passata and stir well, followed by the water or stock. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Break the lasagne sheets into pieces and stir them into the mince mixture. Add cheese and mix, then place the ricotta in dollops around the pan.
- Put the lid on the pan and gently simmer for about 15 minutes or until the pasta is al dente.
- Garnish with parmesan and chopped parsley, and enjoy.
