Almost $17,000 was contributed to the Peak Hill, NSW, economy as a result of the Australian Caravan Club’s Chairman’s Muster.
About 60 members in 31 RVs attended the muster, which was held at the Peak Hill Showgrounds from May 18 to 23.
“While financially supporting local businesses and clubs, our members were overwhelmed by the warm and friendly reception they received from the local community,” ACC chairman Craig Humphrey said.
Over the five days of the muster, ACC members dined out, purchased groceries and fuel and other essentials. They also visited a local farm, took guided tours of regional attractions, and participated in other local activities.
“The outcomes from this muster prove that RVers and local communities can both reap the rewards that come when we work together and obtain a beneficial outcome for all of us. Both the Peak Hill community and our club members came out winners.”
