The Gold Coast’s largest caravanning event, the Let’s Go Gold Coast Caravan & Outdoor Expo, is set to return to Metricon Stadium, Qld.
From Friday March 4 to Sunday March 6, more than 100 exhibitors will display the latest products and gadgets, caravans, camper trailers, motorhomes, tent trailers, campervans, and tow vehicles and accessories.
With a 275 per cent increase in the number of new RVs registered in Queensland in September 2021 compared to the same period in 2020 (2525 in 2021 compared to 916 in 2020), it’s clear the industry has experienced unprecedented growth.
And Queensland is leading the charge nationally, with the highest number of registered RVs across the country (192,751), followed by Victoria (179,163) and New South Wales (174,817).
“The Gold Coast Expo offers something for the entire family, showcasing the latest products and technology, educational seminars on caravan weights and towing, as well as a ‘land train’ amusement ride for the kids,” Jason Plant, CEO of Caravan Trade & Industries Association of Queensland, said.
“You will have direct access to industry experts and suppliers who are ready to point you in the right direction, show you the best options for your budget and provide you with the safety advice you need before you hit the road.”
The gates of the Let’s Go Gold Coast Caravan and Outdoor Expo will be open from 9am to 5pm from the Friday to the Saturday, closing at 4pm on the Sunday.
Tickets cost $14 (adults) and $12 (concession). Accompanied school-aged children are free. All show-goers will be required to present proof of covid-19 vaccination or medical exemption.
